And once they were done, everyone got off the bleachers and went to the center of the gym and started to dance. My favorite memory of high school was when we had a homecoming rallies and the cheerleaders were having a dance off. Even though the main priority is education and college, the school also tries to make the students feel comfortable and to enjoy their time here in high school by providing rallies and other fun activities. They held many college visits in the lecture hall and at least a college fair every year to get the idea of the "after high school what are you going to become" thought. They offered after school study hall which helped students come by and have one on one sessions with teachers, had a college center that many junior and senior students went too for help with financial aid and college related materials. The school provided a lot of resources to a variety of situations that a student may have. Senior: My experience at Los Fresnos High School was an amazing time. The variety of clubs we have allows everyone to explore their interests, and if not, it's easy to start a club of your own! I love VVECHS and even after i graduate, i will remain a Spartan forever. We not only get to graduate with two diplomas, but we also have normal high school experiences like homecoming, prom, spirit week, etc. This school is the perfects school any student can ever imagine! This is my second year here and all of us, including the teachers, are just like a family. It has 389 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 21 to 1. Overall, San Isidro is the best district for education because they do not only teach, they guide with patient hands for they care about each and every student and their futures. academic program should be encouraged more and not placed as less important than the sport programs. If there was any complaint, it would be that the U.I.L. Garcia is not the only one every teacher works hard with their students toward a brighter future. My senior year, I graduated Salutatorian of my class. Elvira Garcia saw potential in me and helped me learn English and guided me to be a better student. For example, my first grade teacher, Mrs. Even though it is a small school, this is the reason students excel since teachers have the opportunity to guide students on a more personal and individual level. Alum: San Isidro Independent School District offers great education and provides students with future opportunities better than any other school district.
